How much weight can a golf cart handle?

I know a guy that is at least 400lbs, more around 425 to 450 max. He uses a golf cart to get around. The floor of the cart has to be fixed often, as it pushes itself off of the cart. The cart leans to one side, and the batteries take a lot of strain on hills. I was wondering, does he max out the golf cart? Is he past the limit? How much can it handle?

how can I keep my strength up when walking the golf course and playing?

My husband and I have been walking 18 holes of golf pulling a golf cart. we are trying to do it several times a week. twice so far I have done it and its a struggle because on a couple of holes it is a big hill to climb. yesterday it was in the 80's and on the 16th hole it is a steep hill--my heart seemed to be beating real fast and hard and I barely had the strength to climb. I drink lots of water--and had a good breakfast. any suggestions on how to get my energy up. by the way I am 57, I am no spring chicken.

Off the course, work on your cardio training; even walking is good.

You're using a trolley (pull cart); that's good.

Maybe mix in some gatorade (or powerade) on the back 9, and/or eat a banana during the round.

Good on ya for walking; the way the game is meant to be played!

I have a Yamaha powered golf cart, (gasoline engine), it doesn't run now. What do I check?

The solenoid that engages the gas engine starter via the throttle (foot-pedal) was very warm during a preliminary inspection. I want to be certain before going into town to purchase parts. It appears to be a multifunction solenoid located inside the eng. compartment and is wired to the ignition switch, battery, armature, and a relay switch,(forw.-rev.)? All the wiring and battery terminals are OK, the key ignition switch checks out OK. I disconnected the (new) battery to de-energize solenoid with no success. What's next?

If it has spark plugs check to see if they have any corrosion on them or if it needs a tune up.

Does anyone know if you can use a different clutch for this golf cart or where to find the cheapest?

We need the following clutch for our ez go golf cart, but they go for around 200 which is way beyond our budget. I'm wondering if there's something compatible or a way to find one cheap. Thanks in advance for any help to those who know about this sort of thing.
